* The G&K Services Foundation will not accept proposals from new grant applicant organizations in 2009. The Foundation will work closely with existing grantees for the 2009 grant cycle and will strive to continue its corporate giving programs. The Foundation remains committed to supporting education and human services in the communities where it does business and its employees live and work.

We focus our foundation and corporate giving on:

• Developing basic skills (e.g., GED, ESL, literacy, parenting, youth development)
• Encouraging self-sufficiency (e.g., employment procurement/job training, vocational rehabilitation)
• Promoting sustained, long-term change
